Hungarian Grand Prix: When is it, what time does it start, session times and schedule
The Hungarian Grand Prix stages the third round of the 2020 Formula One season as Mercedes look to maintain their 100 per cent win record this season.
After back-to-back races in Austria, Mercedes have shown once again that they will be the team to beat this season, with Valtteri Bottas taking the opening race of the season before Lewis Hamilton registered his first victory last time out in the Styrian Grand Prix.
The paddock has moved on to the Hungaroring this week in what is the third instalment of a season-opening triple-header, before a well-deserved week off next weekend, and there will be a number of teams hoping for better showings in the hope that Austria was just a blip.
That applies no more than for Ferrari, who have fallen well below their usual standards and suffered a double first-lap retirement for their drivers at the Red Bull Ring, with Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc under huge pressure to turn their season around.
Red Bull will also hope to find a race pace that can challenge Mercedes for outright victory, while Racing Point will hope to finally convert their impressive pace into race results providing they survive a stewards’ hearing into their car design after a protest from Renault.

Qualifying: 2pm – 3pm BST

Race: 2:10pm – 4:10pm BST

All European races will be held behind closed doors, meaning that the only way fans will be able to see the action is on television.
In the UK, Sky Sports continue to hold the exclusive rights for F1, with Channel 4 only able to show the British Grand Prix later in the year.
