Ian McCall vs. Ray Borg Removed from UFC 203 Fight Card

Ian McCall vs. Ray Borg Removed from UFC 203 Fight Card

Two days before UFC 203 is scheduled to take place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, a bout has been pulled from Saturday's pay-per-view event.

The flyweight bout between Ian McCall and Ray Borg has been scrapped after Borg fell ill on Wednesday. Fox Sports first reported the fight card change.

McCall might be feeling deja vu. “Uncle Creepy” was scheduled to face Justin Scoggins at UFC 201 on July 30, but two days before the event the bout was removed from the fight card after Scoggins announced that he was not going to make weight.

As was the case in July, a replacement was unable to be booked on such late notice. For the second time in a row, McCall will have to be rebooked for a later date.

UFC 203 is headlined by the heavyweight title fight between champion Stipe Miocic and third-ranked Alistair Overeem. It will be the first event the fight promotion has hosted in Cleveland.
