BCCI Present Sourav Ganguly has thanked former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, for accepting to mentor Team India in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE. The BCCI announced India’s squad along with making an announcement of Dhoni’s appointment as the mentor of the team. The former skipper with three ICC titles to his name will work closely with Ravi Shastri and the support staff and help the team end their dry run of ICC titles.

Taking to Twitter, Sourav Ganguly thanked MS Dhoni for his participation in the event.

“Dhoni’s addition to the side is a way to use his experience for the T20 WC. I also thank Dhoni for accepting BCCI’s offer to help the team for this tournament,” Ganguly said in a BCCI tweet.

The former Indian skipper announced his international retirement last year but is still leading the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. He is currently in the UAE and training with the CSK side.
