Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal stressed on replicating his recent performance in Oman in the second phase of IPL 2021.

The 19-year-old Jaiswal, who toured with Mumbai’s team and won the One-day series in Muscat, combinedly scored close to 300 runs in the ODI and T20 series.

The youngster played only three games for RR in the first half of IPL and his scores read 22, 32 and 12 with a batting average of 22. The Mumbai prodigious batsman amassed 400 runs from six innings in the 2020 ICC U-19 World Cup with the help of four half-centuries and a hundred.

Jaiswal said he had a good practice time against Oman International team ahead of the second phase of IPL 2021 and wishes to carry his form for RR.

“I had a very good series against Oman and in similar conditions to the UAE. I’m really happy with the way I’m playing my cricket at the moment, and I can’t wait to replicate these performances in the IPL against much stronger line-ups,” Jaiswal was quoted as saying in a media release.
