World Cup 2018, Iran vs Spain - as it happened: Diego Costa winner hands La Roja all three points

Spain are back in action and they will be fired up after they were denied the perfect response to their manager being sacked on the eve of the World Cup by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Their 3-3 draw has been the game of the tournament so far and they will be looking to deal out some pent-up frustration on Iran.

Iran actually start the second round of fixtures top of Group B having beaten Morocco in their opening game.

What time is it?

Iran vs Spain kicks off at 7pm.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be shown live on BBC One.

Odds

Iran: 19/1

Spain: 1/6

Draw: 6/1

Prediction

Iran 0-3 Spain. Spain looked good against Portugal and would have won comfortably against Portugal if not for Cristiano Ronaldo. They've now had a week longer to prepare without a manager and will be far more organised at both end of the pitch. Expect Iran to learn this very quickly.
