So this is what Mike Myers looks like now then…

Gone are the brown locks, with the Austin Powers star now busting the silver fox look, causing fans to wonder when exactly it was that he turned into Steve Martin.

It’s a good point…

The Canadian-born star is a big advocate of Trudeau, who was sworn in last November.

“When I lived in Canada, Pierre Trudeau was my prime minister for 14 years. I describe myself as a true Trudeauvian,” he said.

“And now I’m thrilled to have his son as my prime minister.”

Myers dropped off the radar somewhat, following his big-screen ubiquity around the time of the ‘Austin Powers’ movies in the late 90s and early 2000s, and prior to that, his breakthrough with Dana Carvey in 1992 smash 'Wayne’s World’.

Though continuing to voice Shrek for Dreamworks, his movie roles took a turn following the Razzie-winning flop 'The Love Guru’.

He’s remained relatively quiet in front of the camera ever since, bar a small role in Tarantino’s 'Inglorious Basterds’.

He did make the shift behind the camera, however, helming 'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon’ in 2013, a documentary about the revered talent manager behind the likes of Alice Cooper and Blondie.

Last year, his face was adorned on a Canadian stamp.
