Jamie Clare emerged victorious, having triumphed in three of the four Old Sports Auctions events.

His final victory was secured at the season's concluding 18-hole event at Wheathill Golf Club, where he bested Mark Singleton by scoring 40 points.

Despite sustaining a back injury the previous week, Clare's performance was commendable.

His sluggish start was counteracted by a series of three birdies and resulted in him leading the competition.

In spite of a bogey at the 8th, he still managed to record a hat trick of birdies on holes 14, 15 and 16, leaving him at the top of the leaderboard.

His six birdies in total, along with 21 points on the back nine, led to him winning the mini Order of Merit.

The G&S PGA Secretary, Mr Singleton, hailed his colleagues to his home club and navigated the course swiftly, except for Clare.

In the process, he scored 38 stableford points taking second place alone.

His score saw him gain a few points over leader Ross Langdon in the Total Triumph OOM race.

Langdon retains a considerable lead as they approach the season's final event next Thursday.
