New Jim Beam Peach Bourbon is made with peach liqueur and sounds delicious

If you're a fan of the delicious Jim Beam Honey Bourbon, then you're sure to love the latest blend to join the whisky giant's flavour family... Jim Beam Peach.

Forget Georgia peaches, this is all about Kentucky peaches, as the brand promises this refreshing new flavour will bringing: "a touch of much needed Southern Kentucky sunshine to the UK.

A mix of sweet peach liqueur and Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the new tipple blends the flavours of fresh peach with woody bourbon undertones.

You don't need to be a big whiskey drinker to enjoy this peachy creation. And it's currently reduced from £18 to £13 pounds at Asda, which is even more reason to give it a try.

For a simple serve, the brand says to add a dash of soda water or lemonade for a classic highball. But we're dreaming of the cocktails we can make with this fruity bourbon.

The team at Jim Beam put their own spin on the popular Passionfruit Martini, the Jim Beam Passionfruit Highball; using Jim Beam Peach, soda water, passion fruit syrup, and lemon juice. Topped to the nines with fresh peach slices, ½ passionfruit, lemon, cucumber, and mint. We've included the full recipe below.

JIM BEAM PASSIONFRUIT HIGHBALL

  • Vessel: Wine Glass / Copa / highball

  • Ice: Cubed

  • Garnish: Peach slices, ½ passionfruit, lemon, cucumber, orange & mint

  • Ingredients:

  • 50ml Jim Beam Peach

  • 25ml Passionfruit syrup

  • 25ml Lemon Juice

  • 150ml Soda

Method:

  1. Add ice to the top of a highball glass

  2. Pour in 50ml Jim Beam Peach, 25ml Passionfruit syrup and 25ml of fresh lemon juice

  3. Add more ice and top with 150ml soda

  4. Stir all ingredients together

  5. For the garnish, use a peeler to create a cucumber ribbon and thread this around the glass. Add 2 slices of peach, ½ a passionfruit, 1 slice of lemon, 1 slice of orange and a mint sprig
