Jim Harbaugh is a man of his word!

The former Michigan head football coach has commemorated the team’s undefeated season and national championship with a new tattoo — making good on a promise he made last fall.

The 60-year-old’s new shoulder tattoo features the school’s “M” logo with “15-0” underneath.

On Saturday, April 20, tattoo artist Stephen Bateman posted a photo of his client’s new ink on Instagram.

"Go Blue! 15-0 thanks Jim Harbaugh for having me out!!" Bateman wrote.

In October, Harbaugh briefly sketched out his plans for the tattoo, while a guest on the Inside Michigan Football radio show.

“If we go undefeated, I’m going to get a 15-0 tattoo,” Harbaugh said at the time. “Probably on the shoulder, and a block ‘M’ over it. I haven’t configured the art yet, but if that happens, I will do it.”

The Wolverines went on to win the national championship, defeating the Washington Huskies on Jan. 8.

The dominant victory capped off the team’s first unblemished season since Michigan won its previous title two and a half decades ago.

But the season was not without controversy, with Harbaugh fulfilling a three-game suspension after a weeks-long investigation of the head coach by the NCAA for sign-stealing.

While he's now moved on to the NFL as head coach for the Los Angeles Chargers, Harbaugh is also drawing attention for his unconventional transition to Cali life.

In a video posted by the team on April 16, Harbaugh explained the benefits of living in a recreational vehicle alongside the ocean in Huntington Beach.
