Rangers fans have been urged to pull on their retro kits in memory of Jimmy Bell to mark two years since the legendary kitman's death.

Bell was part of the furniture at Ibrox and worked under iconic bosses like Graeme Souness, Dick Advocaat and Walter Smith during his 30 years at the club before passing away at the age of 69 in May 2022. He still holds a special place in Rangers fans' hearts and the Broomloan Collective have invited supporters to take part in their annual tribute by turning out in their retro shirts for Kilmarnock's visit to Ibrox on Saturday May 5.

A bucket collection on behalf of the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation will also be held before the game to help those affected by cancer.

A statement read: "Broomloan Collective kindly ask all Rangers fans to show their support for Retro Shirt Day on Sunday 5th May at home to Kilmarnock. This annual event in memory of our legendary kitman, Jimmy Bell, has proven to be a success over the past couple of seasons.

"This year, we will again be raising funds for the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation. Donation buckets will be located around the stadium footprint on 5th May. Please dig deep and donate to a good cause that helps many people. Your generosity is greatly appreciated."
