Kieran Tierney begs Tartan Army to rally behind Scotland and vows to 'show what we're capable of' after Germany hammering

Kieran Tierney has urged the Tartan Army to stick with Scotland and push them to qualify from the group despite their Germany humbling last night.

The Scots were battered 5-1 by a rampant Euros host on opening night which leaves their chances of making it into the knockouts already nervy, certainly psychologically. Tierney, though, is adamant there's still a chance the Scots can make it out the group with points against Switzerland and Hungary and he knows the fans in the stands can help them do it.

More than 200,000 Scotland punters are believed to be in Germany for the tournament and the scenes have been phenomenal since they arrived. And KT, albeit disappointed with their opening result, believes the Tartan Army can spur the lads on to mount a comeback they know they're capable of.

"We know there's three games, you're never gonna qualify from the first game so two more, we know what we need to do and what we're capable of doing," he said. "It's just about going out and showing that and showing the fans that as well.

"(The Tartan Army) have been unbelievable and we can't thank them enough. We've seen the videos, when we walked out today, they're amazing, the noise they were making.

"It helps us so much and we're gonna need them the next two games no doubt."
