Kieran Tierney gives update as hamstring injury makes him withdraw from Euros

KIERAN Tierney has given an update after a hamstring injury ruled him out of the remainder of the Euros.

The Scotland defender was taken off the pitch on a stretcher during the team’s game against Switzerland on Wednesday.

In an update on Twitter/X, Tierney said he was “heartbroken” at the decision to remove him from the rest of the competition.

Tierney said: “Heartbroken doesn’t cut it. Love this team and these boys󠁧󠁢󠁳. This too shall pass.”

He is now leaving Germany for England, where he will undergo an injury assessment.

Scotland is next set to play against Hungary at 8pm on Sunday.
