Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp turned down the offer of an Amazon football documentary on the club in the style of the company’s Manchester City show.

Amazon Prime made the well-received All or Nothing series following Manchester City’s title-winning season under Pep Guardiola.

With Liverpool likely to be the closest challengers to City for the title this year, Amazon were keen to make a similar programme on Klopp’s side, but the German manager turned down the chance, while executives and owner John Henry were more keen.

Klopp thinks that cameras can be intrusive to the dressing room and there is no positive side to co-operating with a documentary.

There might also have been a degree of reticence after Brendan Rodgers’ portrayal in 2012’s Being: Liverpool was not overwhelmingly positive.

It is reported in the Daily Mail that Amazon have now turned their attentions to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
