The 'Saturday Night Live' afterparty on April 6 was a star-studded affair
The stars come out for Saturday Night Live afterparties!
Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Martin Short, and Kaia Gerber were among the big names who were pictured attending the SNL afterparty at Oyster Bar in New York City on April 6.
Fresh from presenting Saturday night’s show, Wiig, 50, led the star-studded guestlist, arriving in an eye-catching bright orange outfit consisting of a cropped lace knit sweater and a pencil skirt.
Rudd, who also celebrated his 55th birthday on April 6, and Short, 74, were both smartly dressed in suits for the occasion. The pair had joined Wiig earlier in the evening during her opening monologue on SNL, which also featured cameos from Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, Fred Armisen, Will Forte and Ryan Gosling.
Gerber, 22, and singer Gracie Abrams were both all smiles as they were snapped separately making their way to the afterparty.
SNL musical guest RAYE also made a fashionable appearance at the event, wearing a gray knit mini dress and sporting a curly bouffant bob hairstyle.
Wiig pulled off yet another successful episode of SNL on Saturday, April 6, as she marked her fifth time hosting the sketch show.
The Bridesmaids actress led the show with a hilarious opening monologue featuring surprise guests and former hosts Rudd, Short, Damon, 53, Hamm, 53, Armisen, 57, Forte, 53 and Gosling, 43.
Wiig began by saying she was "so happy to be back" and "so excited" to be "officially in the five-timers club." However, the actress was overshadowed as she was interrupted by Rudd, then Damon and the other former hosts as they raved about being part of the club — though Rudd is the only one to have actually hosted SNL five times — while sporting "five-timers" jackets.
After discussing their own hosting achievements on the show, the group was joined by Wiig onstage and sang in chorus to her as she finally had her moment to shine.
It was cut short however as the former hosts’ spotted Gosling standing to the side of the stage, wearing his own “five-timers” jacket.

The actor then joined the group on stage and presented Wiig with her own jacket as they sang, "This is your night!"
Following her latest hosting gig on SNL, Wiig now joins 25 others in the exclusive “five-timers” club, including Tom Hanks, Bill Murray and the club’s youngest member, Emma Stone.
