British YouTube star KSI narrowly beat Logan Paul in their highly anticipated boxing rematch on Saturday night, with the controversial split decision verdict leaving many to speculate whether there will be a trilogy fight between the pair.

In a wild fight, both men were knocked to the canvas at different points in a professional bout that went the six-round distance in Los Angeles.

Two judges scored the fight 57-54 and 56-55 fight in favour of KSI, while one scored it 56-55 in favour of the American, who was deducted two points in a controversial fourth round for holding and hitting.

After the fight, Paul insisted the knockdown should have counted. Had referee Jack Reese not have penalised him, he would have won the contest via a majority decision.

“I think the two-point deduction was harsh, I am not happy with the commission about that, I think if you do the math that cost me the fight,” Paul complained.

The American then said that he would be interested in fighting once again, only for KSI to ridicule the idea.

“This is done, he can go and do MMA,” the Londoner said.

However, this doesn’t mean this is the last we will see of the two men in the sport of boxing.

“You’ll see me in the squared circle again,” Paul added. “I’ll be back.”
