Brendan Rodgers has made it clear he wants Celtic to get their business done early this summer. And a new goalkeeper is top of the Hoops manager's transfer wish list.

The Scottish champions, of course, have a vacancy between the sticks after legendary England shotstopper Joe Hart decided to hang up his gloves after three trophy-laden years at Parkhead. Football Scotland exclusively revealed last week that Celts had opened talks with Sparta Prague for Peter Vindahl Jensen, although they'd have to stump up big money to land the uncapped Dane.

However, several other names have been linked and the latest is Newcastle United back-up Martin Dubravka. The 35-year-old is set to depart St James' Park this summer as Eddie Howe eyes a move for James Trafford to compete with No1 Nick Pope. And various reports suggest the Slovak is on Rodgers' radar.

Meanwhile Celtic are also said to be keeping tabs on new Scotland cap Tommy Conway as he enters the final year of his contract with Bristol City. The 21-year-old striker is expected to be sold in the coming months and Bristol Live have credited both Celtic and Rangers with an interest in the talented youngster.

Either Scottish side could land the sharpshooter for around £300,000 in compensation this time next year when his contract is up but would presumably have to pay a bit more if they wanted to get in now and ensure no-one else gets there first.

Elsewhere, Sky Sports Germany say that the Double-winners are looking at Austrian defender Flavius Daniliuc, who will play for his country at Euro 2024. The centre-back, 23, has been on loan at RB Salzburg in his homeland from Serie B side Salternitana.

He is likely to leave the Italians permanently this summer and while Salzburg have an option to take him permanently, the Hoops are hoping to swoop if that doesn't happen. Daniliuc is a former teammate of Nicolas Kuhn from when the pair played in Bayern Munich's reserves together.

With Gustaf Lagerbielke and possibly Maik Nawrocki set to move on this summer, the Glasgow giants could be in the market for two new centre-backs and they've been linked with free agent Scott McKenna. The Scotland stopper - who spent last season on loan with Copenhagen - is out of contract after leaving Nottingham Forest and admitted today that he hopes to put himself in the shop window by impressing at the Euros.

Up front, Celts are keen to sign loan striker Adam Idah on a permanent deal but Football Scotland understands newly-appointed Norwich City manager Johannes Hoff Thorup is keen to take a closer look at the Irishman during pre-season training. Idah found the net in Ireland's 2-1 win over Hungary last week and international teammate Liam Scales hopes to see the 23-year-old back at Parkhead on a permanent basis.

He said: "100 per cent. I want him to stay. Every Celtic fan and everyone at the club would love to have him back. He was outstanding but a lot of things have to go right for that to happen but hopefully it will."

In terms of outgoings, forgotten man Sead Haksabanovic is wanted by newly-promoted Serie A side Parma in a £2million deal. The former Rubin Kazan winger struggled to make an impact at Stoke City during a season-long loan and Celts are keen to offload him.
