Celtic fans will NOT be wanting to see the back of Matt O'Riley this summer. But it's a fate they may have to accept.

The midfielder was one of the top players in the Scottish Premiership last season, and has been since he came north from MK Dons. Last campaign was his most complete though and 19 goals and 18 assists in all competitions has plenty of other teams taking notice.

Atletico Madrid failed with an attempt to take him to Spain in January and could return with another bid while half of the clubs in the English Premier League seem to have been mentioned. The strongest link at the moment seems to be Southampton, who are managed by the 23-year-old's former MK Dons boss Russell Martin.

Saints are said to be readying their offer for O'Riley with Celtic set to stand firm on their asking price of £30million, slightly higher than what Atleti offered in January. That fee is unlikely to put the Premier League side after their promotion from the Championship brought them untold riches.

Another key contributor to the Hoops' season last time out as Adam Idah. The striker is due to report for Norwich City pre-season after his break is over with his Celts loan deal over.

However, that might not be the end of it with Brendan Rodgers very keen on trying to get a permanent deal done for the 23-year-old. Canaries boss Johannes Hoff Thorup will have huge say though after admitting he wanted to take a look at the player in training.

Celtic fans reckon Idah has dropped a come-and-get-me plea with his latest social media post though. He posed for a picture with Hoops winger James Forrest - all innocent enough - but supporters feel that the caption 'The Bhoys in green' was a strong hint of where he wants to be.
