Latest Rangers transfer news with Cyriel Dessers and Kenny McLean updates and new 'target' emerges

Cyriel Dessers could soon be waving goodbye after just one year at Rangers with a clutch of clubs eyeing his signature.

Greek side PAOK have already reportedly been in talks with a view to signing the striker, 29, but now clubs in Spain and France are said to have registered their interest with the Ibrox club. And the Rangers Review reports Gers are looking to recoup the £4.5million they splashed out to sign him from Cremonese last year.

As well as that interest from the continent, there are also believed to be admiring glances from Saudi Arabia so a lucrative offer could well be in the pipeline. Dessers was often maligned during his first season in blue but still managed to end up with 22 goals, however his sale would give Philippe Clement much-needed funds to continue to perform surgery on his squad.

Kenny McLean has been a name on many a Rangers fan's lips in recent days with swirling chat that the Light Blues were lining up a move to bring the boyhood Bluenose back to Scotland from Norwich. However, the Rangers Review have offered an update on that too and state it's one that won't be happening due to his wage demands being out of reach.

They may already have moved onto an alternative target with links to Le Havre midfielder Oussama Targhalline. L'Equipe claim the Light Blues are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs on the 22-year-old but say the French Ligue 1 side are keen to fight off interest. Targhalline is Moroccan just like imminent signing Hamza Igamane. He has just one year left on his deal but Le Havre are believed to have offered an extra year in a bid to hang onto their man.

Yusuf Kabadayi is a player that WON'T be coming to Scotland. The Bayern Munich winger was extensively linked and at one stage thought to be on the verge of signing a deal with Gers but has now penned a four-year contract to stay in Germany with Augsburg.

Meanwhile, Igamane is expected to be announced any time now after the 21-year-old said an emotional farewell to old club AS Far Rabat.
