It's probably been the busiest start to a transfer window that Rangers fans can remember. Five signings are already in the door and more are on the way - although former boss Gio van Bronckhorst might have a say in that.

The Ibrox club have been chasing the signature of Bayern Munich attacker Yusuf Kabadayi, 20, in recent weeks but have yet to get the deal over the line. And that could spell bad news for Philippe Clement with various reports in Turkey suggesting that Besiktas have struck a deal in principle with Munich as GVB attempts to hijack the move.

It's said that Besiktas' vice president Huseyin Yucel is heavily involved in the negotiations as he attempts to persuade highly-rated Kabadayi that his future lies in Istanbul. He's not the only forward player that Clement has his eye on, though, as the Gers boss seeks to bolster his frontline.

Rapid Bucharest striker Albion Rrahmani has also caught the eye after plundering 19 goals in in 30 matches last season. That transfer could prove tricky to get over the line, with newly-appointed boss Neil Lennon recently insisting that his star man was going "nowhere".

Bucharest won't let their goal machine go on the cheap either, with the Romanians reportedly slapping a £6.8million price tag on his head. However, ex-Celtic boss Lennon may be preparing for a worst-case scenario after splashing out £600k to sign Slovakian Under-21 star Timotej Jambor from MSK Zilina. Whether the 21-year-old has been brought in as a replacement remains to be seen.

Motherwell frontman Theo Bair has also been linked with a move to the Old Firm after a blistering campaign at Fir Park. Currently on international duty with Canada, the ex-St Johnstone star could move on this summer with boss Stuart Kettlewell admitting two offers have already been tabled. Asked specifically about Celtic and Rangers, though, Kettlewell confirmed the bids were from outside Scotland.

Meanwhile Rangers' interest in Couhaib Driouech may be short-lived after it emerged that the Moroccan winger's preference is to join PSV this summer. The Dutch giants had a bid booted out for the 22-year-old in January but could tempt Eredivisie rivals Excelsior into selling this summer as the player enters the final year of his contract. Gers are expected to confirm the £2million capture of fellow countryman Hamza Igamane in the coming days.

Meanwhile the agent of Ianis Hagi has warned Rangers they might not be able to cash in on the Romanian playmaker this summer. Hagi, 25, is starring for his country at the Euros and is due to return to Ibrox after spending the year on loan with Spanish outfit Alaves. His representatives are working hard to find him a new club but say any departure will likely be on loan.
