Leinster and Connacht get Heineken Cup week underway

THERE’S NOTHING QUITE like the magic of Heineken Cup rugby. While Munster and Leinster got us warmed up at Thomond Park on Saturday night, this is where the season fires into full flight.

With that in mind here are some of the best photos to emerge from the Leinster and Connacht training sessions today. The three-time champions seemed to enjoy their run-out in UCD, while Pat Lam’s men were drenched by torrential rain. A sign of things to come this weekend?
