Ling rubbishes O'Kane Torquay exit talk

Eunan O'Kane

Torquay boss Martin Ling has dismissed speculation linking Eunan O'Kane with a move away from the club ahead of their play-off semi-final with Cheltenham.

The young playmaker is reportedly attracting the interest of a host of clubs including npower League Two champions Swindon. But Ling insists the 21-year-old Ulsterman is only focused on the games ahead of him.

"Eunan has got a big job to do for us over the next three games, and that's all he's concentrating on," he told the Western Morning News.

"I'm sure he's one of many of our players who have caught the eye this season, but that's as far as it goes - there has been no contact from Swindon, or anyone else.

"Clubs are looking at players everywhere with a view to next season, and you always get this sort of talk at this time of year."
