A Liverpool cult hero under manager Sir Kenny Dalglish looks completely unrecognizable after ditching his iconic 90s mullet.

The now-60-year-old joined the Reds on loan in 1990 from Belgian side Standard Liege and he secured a permanent move to Anfield worth $1.26 million after helping Liverpool to the First Division title, scoring seven goals in eight, including a hat-trick against Charlton Athletic. In the next season, the forward faced stiff competition for his place, battling it out with legend Ian Rush, Peter Beardsley, and mid-season signing David Speedie.

Nonetheless, the famous mullet-rocking star featured 23 times across all competitions that year. The following season, the 60-capped international star picked up another piece of major silverware with Liverpool, winning the FA Cup - despite not being selected for the matchday squad, a 2-0 win over Sunderland at Wembley.

After four years at Anfield, the striker moved on to Tottenham and scored on his debut in February 1994, in a home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. His best work for Spurs came in the FA Cup, scoring a hat-trick in their run to the 1995 Final.

His stint in North London lasted until 1997 and it was at Watford where he spent the last two years of his career. It was also a productive stint, scoring eight in 31 appearances, before retiring in 1999. Have you figured out who it is yet?

Unrecognizable Red: Ronny Rosenthal

It's none other than Ronny Rosenthal! The Israeli now rocks a clean-shaven look after ditching his iconic 90s mullet, and he resides in London, and has worked as a football agent and consultant. The ex-Red married a Belgian woman, Nancy, and their two sons, Dean and Tom, were born in England.

Rosenthal has also done punditry work for Sport1 and can be spotted on the Spurs sideline from time to time. In 2019, he and his family suffered a terrifying ordeal as his Cricklewood home was broken into by thugs. Rosenthal was attacked by knife-wielding robbers who burgled his home while his family slept, and he was punched in the face.

The robbers were after jewellery and expensive possessions inside Rosenthal's $5m London home. "They knew what watches he had. They went in and punched him in the face," a neighbor said. Another spoke on the situation, telling The Evening Standard: "He told me that they were physically abused and threatened with machetes and horrible stuff like that.

"The raiders were in and out in five minutes ... these people know what they’re doing. The family are fine now, they are a strong family but it wasn’t pleasant."

Enjoying retired life, Rosenthal enjoys holidaying alongside his wife, Nancy, and he regularly visits his home country, Israel. Rosenthal is also a cat dad to a British Shorthair.
