Kieran Morrison has been rewarded for his excellent progress at Liverpool by signing a first professional contract with the club.

The 17-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Reds having shone at the Academy since joining the club from Manchester United at under-14s.

Morrison, who represents Northern Ireland at youth level, has scored 11 goals and laid on four assists in the Under-18 Premier League North this season, mainly operating off the right flank for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side.
