Liverpool will be the heavy favourites to win at Anfield today when Aston Villa come to Merseyside.

The Reds have not been at their electric best recently but they impressed against Arsenal and their motivation to finish in the top four is strong.

Villa meanwhile remain without their captain and talisman Jack Grealish.

They are only three points behind Liverpool with a game in hand, and could deal a major blow to their opponents’ Champions League hopes.

Here is everything you need to know.

When is the match?

Liverpool vs Aston Villa kick-offs today, Saturday 10 April at 3pm BST.

How can I watch it?

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK. Subscribers can stream online via the Sky Sports website and app.

What is the team news?

Jurgen Klopp is likely to field a strong line-up, despite the game coming in between two legs against Real Madrid in the Champions League, as Liverpool chase a spot in the top four. Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Divock Origi all remain out.

Jack Grealish has been ruled for a further two weeks after a fresh setback in training. Wesley is not yet fit enough to return to match action.

Confirmed line-ups

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Milner, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Jota

Aston Villa: Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett, Douglas Luiz, Nakamba, Traore, McGinn, Trezeguet, Watkins

Odds

Liverpool 10/17

Draw 18/5

Aston Villa 17/5

Prediction

Liverpool looked something closer to their old selves against Arsenal last weekend, and although they were beaten by Real Madrid, they seem to have a bit of swagger back particularly in attack. With Jack Grealish still out injured this should be a win for the hosts. Liverpool 2-0 Aston Villa.
