The Premier League champions return to action later today as Liverpool meet Stuttgart in their first pre-season friendly in Austria.

With little time to rest following their first title success for three decades, the Reds have been stepping up preparations for the 2020-21 campaign with a training camp on the outskirts of Salzburg.

Jurgen Klopp will further assess the condition of his players in a contest against Stuttgart, who earned automatic promotion back to the Bundesliga last term after finishing as runners-up in the second tier of German football, behind Arminia Bielefeld.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will play no part for Liverpool this evening due to a knee injury sustained in training this week that will also rule him out of Tuesday's meeting with Salzburg and the Community Shield clash against former club Arsenal at Wembley on August 29.

Kick-off is at 5pm BST, here's how you can watch along...
