Looking to get back to winning ways, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has his job made easier by the fact Sadio Mane is fit to start despite suffering a rib injury while away on international duty.

While it would be hyperbolic to suggest the loss away at West Ham United prior to the break has thrown Liverpool’s season completely off course, the result had been coming.

Indeed, Klopp had criticised the body language of some of his players after the draw at home to Brighton last month and, frankly, the defence has proven somewhat leaky all season.

Andy Robertson misses out on the squad, with Jordan Henderson on the bench. Joel Matip is favoured alongside Virgil van Dijk, rather than Ibrahima Konate.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Jota, Mane

Subs: Kelleher, Konate, Henderson, Minamino, Gordon, Phillips, Beck, Morton, Bradley
