Loose Women has responded to rumours that Stacey Solomon is leaving the show, saying that the "claims are not true".

Rumours began circulating that Stacey had plans to step down as a panellist on the daytime show to focus on family and her decluttering TV series Sort Your Life Out.

ITV has since commented on the speculation, revealing that Stacey would not be leaving Loose Women.

"These claims are not true," said a spokesperson to OK! Magazine. "We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon."

This isn't the first time Stacey has been the subject of speculation. Earlier this year in January, she took to social media to clarify that she hadn't already given birth following online comments.

Ahead of welcoming her third child with husband and former EastEnders star Joe Swash, Stacey addressed the rumours on her Instagram Stories, writing: "So many of you were like: 'Stace, don't do that to us, you've been quiet for a few days and we thought you'd given birth.'

"Sorry, I'm very much still full-term pregnant, I just wanted to try and make it to a couple of days before the baby comes."

"And just like that, our baby girls is crawling," Stacey added. "How is this all happening already? These days are long but the months are flying by..."
