Love Island 2023 sees another bombshell arrive in the villa

Love Island spoilers follow.

Tonight's (June 7) episode of Love Island featured another new arrival, as bombshell Whitney Adebayo entered the villa.

The episode opened with the fallout of last night's shenanigans, which saw Andre Furtado left single after newcomer Zachariah Noble decided to couple up with Catherine Agbaje.

As Zachariah and Catherine headed off for an impromptu first date on the terrace, Andre reflected with the boys about his situation, admitting that he would now have to "step on toes" in order to avoid being dumped in the upcoming recoupling.

However, things move quickly in the villa. The very next day, Andre's determination to graft had been rewarded: The islander received a text revealing that new bombshell Whitney was waiting for him.

Excited at the prospect of finding a new connection, Andre headed down to the beach while the girls speculated about the new bombshell.

"How did you feel when you got the text?" Whitney quizzed her date.

"I was quite relieved when I got the text," Andre said, adding that he was "feeling" Whitney and wanted to get to know her.

Back at the villa, the Islanders wasted no time in grilling Andre and Whitney about their date, with Andre hinting that Whitney was now his favourite in the villa.

However, he later revealed to Tyrique and Zachariah that Catherine was still his main option. Could there be a future love triangle on the cards?

Whitney too had her own reservations about the relationship, unable to fully look past the four-year age gap between her and 21-year-old Andre.

"Me and Andre are definitely vibing. I know he wants more from me, [but] the age is a bother," she later reflected in the beach hut.

"I'm not going to get over it, and I won't be rushed."

Love Island airs on ITV2, and is available via catch up on ITVX and BritBox.
