FOLLOWING a disappointing evening in the Premier League last night, Luke “The Nuke” Littler has the chance to bounce straight back this weekend.

Warrington’s teenage darts sensation will be among the star attractions on show at the European Darts Grand Prix, which starts in Sindelfingen, Germany, today.

He is looking for a second EuroTour success having scooped the Belgian Darts Open title last month.

Littler would face Luke Humphries – the man who beat him in January’s World Darts Championship final – in the second round tomorrow evening if he comes through his first-round clash with Germany’s Arno Merk tonight.

Their meeting will be part of the evening session, which starts at 6pm UK time and can be watched on Viaplay or PDCTV.

The 17-year-old will be bidding to recover from only his third Premier League quarter-final exit after he was beaten 6-3 by Michael Smith in the opening match of Night 12 in Rotterdam.

Smith went on to reach the final, where he was beaten by Nathan Aspinall.
