Man City vs Nottingham Forest: Prediction, kick-off time, team news, TV, live stream, h2h results, odds today

Manchester City this afternoon return to Premier League action with the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Pep Guardiola’s side, not always the strongest starters, have been in fine fettle so far this season and have firmly put paid to any suggestion that they will let levels drop after last year’s iconic treble success.

City have taken maximum points from their opening five games in the top-flight and are strong favourites to extend that run here given Forest’s pitiful away record since winning promotion last year.

Steve Cooper’s side recently beat Chelsea on their travels but this is a much harder task.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Man City vs Nottingham Forest is scheduled for a 3pm BST kick-off time today, Saturday September 23, 2023.

The Etihad Stadium in Manchester will host the contest.

For Forest, Danilo is still out injured but Serge Aurier and Willy Boly are both pushing to return, along with goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Man City vs Nottingham Forest prediction

It is very difficult to back Forest given such a poor away record since promotion. City, meanwhile, show little sign of slowing down and should cruise to a comfortable victory on Saturday.

Man City to win, 3-0.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

Forest were thrashed 6-0 at the Etihad last season as Erling Haaland bagged a second hat-trick in as many games, but they did draw the home fixture 1-1 in February after Chris Wood’s late equaliser.
