Manchester United will return to UK television screens later this month when they play Yeovil Town, after their 12-year run of televised FA Cup matches ended in the third third.

United’s 2-0 win over Derby on 5 January was the first FA Cup game involving the Old Trafford club not to be broadcast live following a 58-match streak. However, they will be shown on BBC One when Jose Mourinho’s team take on Yeovil in Somerset on Friday 26 January.

The League Two club are the lowest ranked team left in the competition and have a rich history of giant-killings, including their famous 1949 victory over an expensively compiled Sunderland side.

Peterborough United’s home tie against either Fleetwood Town or Leicester City will be shown on BT Sport on Saturday 27 January, before Newport County vs Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool vs West Bromwich Albion later on the same date, also on BT Sport.

Norwich City or Chelsea vs Newcastle United will be shown on BT Sport on Sunday 28 January, before Cardiff City or Mansfield Town against the Premier League leaders Manchester City live on the BBC.
