Chelsea team-mates Armando Broja and Marc Cucurella swapped shirts after Spain's 1-0 win over Albania on Monday night.

Cucurella was afforded the night off at the Dusseldorf Arena as the 2010 World Cup winners won Group B of this summer's European Championships thanks to Ferran Torres' first-half goal. Defeat for Broja's Albania meant they finished bottom of Group B and departed from this summer's finals with just one point from three games.

After the game, though, there was a Chelsea reunion for Cucurella and Broja, who could be seen swapping shirts after the Group B encounter. The heart-warming embrace between the Stamford Bridge duo was captured on camera and later posted to Cucurella's Instagram with the caption "Good to see you, Armando Broja".

Monday night's reunion between the Chelsea duo was long overdue, as Broja spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Fulham. During his time at Craven Cottage, the Albanian forward failed to score in any of his eight Premier League appearances.

Broja is expected to leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer, and last week The Athletic reported that Everton and Wolves were interested in the forward, whom Chelsea are said to value at £35m. It is also claimed that Chelsea want to get most of their transfer dealings done before the end of the month, which could mean Broja has just days left as a Chelsea player.

Broja has four years left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.
