After a few exciting weeks in the kitchen, the MasterChef 2023 winner is soon to be crowned.

To advance to Wednesday night's semi-final, four exceptional chefs fought valiantly and displayed some of their best culinary talents.

For judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace, Terri, Chariya, Anurag, and Omar each gave it their best effort by reinterpreting home classics like bangers and mash, steak and chips, and chicken pie.

But, in the end, one contestant failed to keep the judges happy.

The series has eliminated 45 amateur chefs, leaving the final three to compete for the title of 2023 winner.

Who was eliminated in the semis and who won the last season of MasterChef? Here’s what we know.

Who was eliminated from the MasterChef semi-final?

Terri was eliminated after her steak and chips failed to convince the judges. Terri stated that she was still “proud” of herself for progressing this far in the contest.

“Without this competition, I wouldn’t have reached the level of cook I am now for years to come. It pushes you to be the best,” said the assistant account manager.

Finalists

The last three chefs chosen to advance to the MasterChef final are Anurag, Chariya, and Omar.

Anurag

Anurag is an accountant from India who now resides in Essex. The dishes he has cooked during the episode are a testament to his love of Asian cuisine.

Chariya

Chariya, a renowned coffee maker in Hampshire, is a native of northern Thailand. She has charmed the judges during MasterChef with her Thai cooking, and she has used this to her advantage to reach the final.

Omar

Omar, who is now a resident of Watford but is originally from Barnsley, has established himself as a formidable opponent.

He may have given judge Gregg a bloody duck fillet, but he still managed to make the last three.
