Mauricio Pochettino has broken his silence on social media as Chelsea prepare to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The 25-year-old continues to be heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as Enzo Maresca looks to bolster his squad.

Since replacing Pochettino in the dugout, the Blues have welcomed four new faces to west London. Chelsea began by signing Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham before wrapping up a deal for Estevao Willian from Palmeiras.

The Blues then forked out almost £20m to sign Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa. In July, the west Londoners have shown no sign of slowing down; Marc Giui joined from Barcelona at the start of the month, with Dewsbury-Hall expected to follow.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have agreed a £30m deal with Leicester City for the midfielder, who has been given permission to undergo a medical. The report states that Michael Golding will be moving in the opposite direction as part of a separate deal.

While Chelsea look set to gift Maresca five new players before pre-season has even started, Pochettino has taken to social media. Taking to his Instagram story, the former Blues manager posted a picture with his feet up and his 'Mate tea' while enjoying a view on holiday.

Following his departure from Chelsea at the start of June, Pochettino penned a heartfelt message to Blues supporters. He wrote: "To the owners, the sporting directors we appreciate the opportunity to return to the Premier League at this great club @chelseafc and for the support you gave us, as well as from all the players, staff and fans - thank you.

"We understand how important this football club is to you all and that is why we work so hard to give you a Chelsea you can be proud of. I am so pleased with the level the team reached and the way the players and staff have all worked so hard to increase their standards, they deserve great credit and I hope you felt that too in how they performed on the pitch.

"We know there have been ups and downs but we always believed in this team and that we would arrive at a consistent level. I believe the experiences of this season and big improvement we saw, I hope will only make the players stronger for the future.

"It has been a pleasure to work with them all and we appreciate the strong bonds we created in this last year together. I want to wish all of you the best for next season and beyond. It is great that we have the chance to return to Stamford Bridge so soon with @socceraid this weekend and I hope that we get to see some of you there too.

"I hope you all get to have a great summer. Big hug from us. MP x."
