Bishops Hull's first and second XI's continued their pre-season campaigns with clashes against North Curry.

On a cold, damp Saturday (April 27), Hull firsts elected to field first.

Despite slow progress from North Curry, an eighth wicket stand elevated their total to 123 for eight.

Hull responded fiercely, with top scorer Josh Basham's 41 not out leading the charge.

Yet, it was a nail-biting last wicket stand in the final over that secured Hull's victory.

Meanwhile, the second XI match faced an early close, with rain stopping play in the eleventh over, leaving Curry at 43 for four.

Both matches served as fundraisers for the Barney Webber Foundation, with the bar and BBQ open for fans.
