Naked jogger wearing only hiking boots arrested after 'complaints for years'

A stark-naked jogger has been nabbed by the police after being caught in the buff at a beauty spot, save for his trusty hiking boots. The brazen individual was arrested at Dunham Massey in Greater Manchester after he was reportedly seen 'running around' the popular spot leading to several complaints from disturbed onlookers.

This isn't the first time the man has caused a stir; he's allegedly been at it since August 2020, with sightings across North Staffordshire's scenic spots including the Roaches near Leek, Danebridge Trail, Manifold Trail, the village of Flash, and Three Shires Head.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed the arrest of the man on suspicion of indecent exposure, following the incident at Dunham Massey today (May 2). A spokesperson for the force declared: "Male arrested for indecent exposure after being seen running around Dunham Massey naked apart from a pair of walking boots!! ", reports Stoke on Trent Live.

"We have had a number of complaints of this guy doing this previously causing alarm, and so action has been taken." Dunham Massey, a favourite among families, welcomes over half a million visitors annually. The estate boasts a 300-acre deer park under the stewardship of the National Trust, alongside a historic house, buildings, and gardens that are a delight in any season.

Cheshire Police had issued an appeal for information after receiving reports of a man gallivanting across rural locales either completely exposed or with his modesty barely preserved by a 'teeny tiny bum-bag'. In a humorous twist, the officers specified 'for clarity' that they were seeking a facial description of the 'naked man running in the hills on the borders of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire', rather than details of other anatomical features.
