Euro 2024 has taken a breather after nearly two weeks of non-stop football, but that doesn't stop the transfer rumor mill from churning.

Liverpool still has seven players in the mix, with Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, Ryan Gravenberch, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk all remaining in Germany for a bit longer, despite the likes of Andy Robertson returning home.

However, as per usual, the Reds are rumored to be eyeing several other standout performers from this summer's tournament. Georgia's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has arguably done more than most to boost his profile, having guided his country into the knockout stages.

A victory over Jota's Portugal has only added to the buzz around him. But even before the Napoli winger stepped onto the pitch in Gelsenkirchen on Wednesday night, the club's president was quick to manage expectations about a potential summer move.

At a press conference where Antonio Conte was unveiled as Napoli's new head coach, film producer Aurelio De Laurentiis addressed Kvaratskhelia's future in southern Italy.

"With Kvara, there are no problems because we have a contract; we will make him a proposal for a contractual change, and in any case, I don't see any problems for him," De Laurentiis said. "Then there can also be those who make contact with the players without having been authorized by the club."

Turkiye also progressed from Group F after beating Vitezslav Jaros' Czechia. Arda Guler helped them finish ahead of Georgia with a wonder goal in the group stage game between the two.

The teenager announced himself on the international stage with that strike after a stop-star debut season at Real Madrid. Spanish outlet MARCA now claims that Liverpool have contacted the Champions League holders about Guler.

Liverpool.com says: Signing Turkish superstar Guler will be far from straightforward, with five years remaining on the contract penned after leaving Fenerbache a year ago. Barcelona were also interested at the time, which suggests that Liverpool would not be alone in their interest.

Madrid are unlikely to consider selling so soon, meaning the likeliest way Guler arrives at Anfield could be in a loan deal akin to his countryman Nuri Sahin over a decade ago. But whether the teenager is ready to play enough to make any move attractive for Madrid appears unlikely.
