NBA-Players and owners reach tentative agreement on new CBA

Dec 14 (Reuters) - The National Basketball Association (NBA) and union representing its players agreed to a tentative agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement, the two sides said on Wednesday. In order to give both sides enough time to review the agreement and vote to ratify, the parties extended the mutual deadline to opt out of the existing deal from Thursday to Jan. 13.
