Nov 14 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of National Basketball Association games on Sunday: Cavaliers 100, Hornets 93 Channing Frye made five of Cleveland's 14 3-pointers in a win over Charlotte, making the Cavaliers the first team in history to make at least 10 3-pointers in each of their first nine games of a season. Frye scored 20 points off the bench, and LeBron James scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and passed for eight assists. James' 3-pointer in the final minute extended the Cavs' lead to nine and handed the Hornets their second straight loss. Kemba Walker scored 21 points for the Hornets, extending his streak to eight straight with at least 20 points. Magic 119, Thunder 117 In his first game back in Oklahoma City, Serge Ibaka scored 31 points, including the game-winning jumper with 0.4 seconds left, to lead Orlando over his former team. Ibaka shot 13 of 19 from the field, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked four shots. Elfrid Payton added 23 points while Evan Fournier scored 21 for Orlando. Thunder guard Russell Westbrook had his third triple-double of the season with 41 points, 16 assists and 12 rebounds. It was the first time in two years Oklahoma City lost when Westbrook registered a triple-double. Timberwolves 125, Lakers 99 Andrew Wiggins scored a career-high 47 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 12 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Lakers. Ricky Rubio had season highs with 10 points and 10 assists, while Nemanja Bjelica scored a career-high 24 with five 3-pointers in a rare start for Minnesota, which won for the second time in three games. Warriors 133, Suns 120 Klay Thompson saved nine of his season-high 30 points for a late 18-4 run as Golden State survived a scare from Phoenix. Stephen Curry matched Thompson's point total, and Kevin Durant added 29 for the Warriors. Curry, who hit five 3-pointers, contributed six rebounds and six assists, and Durant snatched a team-high nine rebounds. Draymond Green added 14 points, a game-high 11 assists and seven rebounds. The Suns put six players in double figures, led by T.J. Warren and Eric Bledsoe with 20 points apiece. Trail Blazers 112, Nuggets 105 Damian Lillard scored 32 points to lead Portland past Denver. Lillard also had eight rebounds and six assists for the Trail Blazers, who won for the fifth time in six outings.
