How did the players fare in Newcastle United's 5-1 win over Sheffield United

NEWCASTLE (4-3-3):

6 Dubravka: Might have left his line to claim the ball when Sheffield United scored, but made a couple of decent stops

6 Livramento: Became increasingly effective down the right-hand side as he returned to the starting line-up

4 Schar: Didn’t look comfortable at all against Archer’s pace in the first half, and was forced off with an injury issue at half-time

6 Burn: Was stretched on occasion in the first half, but responded with three crucial blocks to shots

6 Hall: Made some effective breaks down the flank as he justified his return to the starting side

6 Longstaff: Improved as the game wore on after a shaky first half – looked much happier after the interval

8 Guimaraes: Underlined his important with a barnstorming second-half display – excellent movement for his headed goal

7 Anderson: Was a big factor in Newcastle’s improved second-half showing with his forward breaks from midfield

6 Murphy: Delivered a superb pass for Isak’s goal, but also had some more wasteful moments before he made way in the second half

8 ISAK: Can claim to be the most in-form striker in the Premier League – produced a clinical finish for his first goal

7 Gordon: Had a major hand in two goals, crossing for Guimaraes’ header and winning the penalty

Subs:

6 Krafth (for Schar, 46): Newcastle looked much better defensively when he came on for the second half

7 Wilson (for Anderson, 67): Only needed five minutes on the pitch to return to scoring form with a clinical finish

7 Barnes (for Murphy, 67): His driving run and superb chipped pass set up Wilson’s goal

A Murphy (for Hall, 81)

Ritchie (for Gordon, 81)
