Newcastle host Leeds in the Premier League tonight as Steve Bruce’s team look to establish a more comfortable gap between themselves and the bottom three.

The Magpies have not won any of their last 10 games, having been defeated 2-0 by Aston Villa in their most recent effort, and time might be running out for Bruce, with his side 16th in the division on 19 points – seven off the relegation zone.

Leeds, meanwhile, have suffered defeats in their last three matches. They were 1-0 losers against Brighton in their last outing, which followed a stunning 3-0 FA Cup loss to Crawley and a 3-0 defeat by 10-man Tottenham.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team are 12th in the table on 23 points, but will know that they could soon be in a dangerous position if they continue to slip.
