Tottenham Hotspur snatched victory late on in the north London derby and will now look to maintain their momentum at Newcastle United.

While Toby Alderweireld, who headed in the winner against Arsenal, admits qualification for the Champions League is now gone, particularly in light of Manchester City’s reprieve at the hands of Cas, a place in the Europa League is still up for grabs.

Sheffield United are two points ahead in seventh, which should ultimately prove to be enough to gain entry, depending on what happens in the FA Cup.

Steve Bruce will be hoping for a reaction here, despite relatively little to play for, after suffering defeat to Watford last time out.

Here are the predicted line-ups and team news for the game at St James’ Park.

What are the odds?

Newcastle – 18/5

Draw – 14/5

Spurs – 3/4

Prediction

Spurs have a heap of injuries and should Serge Aurier also be unavailable then Jose Mourinho faces a dilemma over his selection here. But Newcastle appear to be struggling for motivation having already secured their place in next season’s Premier League. Spurs are still searching for qualification for the Europa League, while the remaining games will certainly prove beneficial to Mourinho in the early stages of his rebuild. With the defence tightening up of late and the exciting potential of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in tandem, an away win looks on the cards here. 0-2.
