Nov. 24 (The Sports Xchange) - Pittsburgh Steelers running back Karlos Williams will be sidelined 10 games following his second suspension this season for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy, according to multiple reports. Williams, 23, missed the first four games of the 2016 season due to a substance-abuse suspension while playing for the Buffalo Bills. The Bills cut Williams on Aug. 21 and he joined the Steelers' practice squad Oct. 12. The former fifth-round pick (155th overall) of the Bills in the 2015 draft rushed for 517 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games as a rookie. - - Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is hoping to return for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after being designated to return this week from injured reserve. Watkins was sidelined for eight games due to soreness stemming from offseason foot surgery. Watkins, who would have a limited role against the Jaguars if he does play, last played in a Sept. 15 loss to the New York Jets in Week 2. - - Minnesota Vikings center Joe Berger left the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions with a concussion. Berger suffered the head injury during the opening half and was declared out for the rest of the game after he was evaluated by medical personnel. - - Detroit Lions wide receiver Stefon Diggs was inactive for Thursday's Thanksgiving Day game.
