June 13 (Reuters) - Mike Yeo was named associate coach of the St. Louis Blues on Monday and general manager Doug Armstrong added that Yeo will replace retiring Ken Hitchcock as head coach for the 2017-18 season. The 42-year-old Yeo spent most of the last five seasons as head coach of the Minnesota Wild, compiling a 173-132-44 regular season record, and took the Wild to three postseason berths, including trips to the second round in 2014 and 2015.
