CONCORD Rangers have been relegated from the Isthmian Premier Division.

The Beach Boys were beaten 4-0 at Whitehawk on Tuesday night.

And the loss was enough to secure their second relegation in succession.

Bottom of the table Concord have now suffered 12 defeats in a row and will be lining up in Isthmian North next season.

Elsewhere in the Isthmian Premier Division, Canvey Island suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Lewes.

Walter Figueira and Bradley Pritchard both netted in stoppage time for the visitors to leave Canvey 17th in the table with just one win in their last 10 games.

In Isthmian North, Bowers & Pitsea moved second in the table with an impressive 3-1 win at play-off rivals Brentwood Town.

Benas Vaivada, Matt Price and Ben Williamson were all on target for Bowers who have now secured their place in the play-offs.

However, it was a bad night for ninth placed Basildon United who lost 1-0 at Redbridge.

In the Essex Senior League, Great Wakering Rovers beat Hullbridge Sports 4-1 at Burroughs Park.

Hullbridge, who are 11th in the table, broke the deadlock with Jon Evans on target.

However, Rovers soon hit back and goals from Dom Locke, Jake Gordon, Harrison Topliss and Tony Martin saw them pick up all three points.

Wakering are now seventh in the table and have at least four games in hand on all the teams above them.

Marcus Bowers’ side had been due to take on Buckhurst Hill this evening but have now been given permission from the league to rearrange the encounter in order to provide more preparation time for the second leg of the FA Vase semi-final against Worcester City on Saturday.

Wakering were beaten 1-0 in the first leg last weekend and will now be looking to overturn that deficit in the second meeting between the two teams.
