Tottenham secured qualification to the Champions League with a five-star display against Norwich.

Spurs only needed a point on the final day to finish fourth ahead of north London rivals Arsenal but cruised to victory at Carrow Road.

Arsenal beat Everton 5-1 but that result at Emirates Stadium ultimately proved inconsequential.

Heung-min Son scored two goals to share with Premier League Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah. The pair finish the season with 22 goals each.

Spurs got the job done in stress-free fashion after first-half goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane quickly dispelled any pre-match nerves among the travelling supporters.

Kulusevski added a third with a brilliant left-footed strike before Son scored twice to cap a fine season.

Spurs finish the season two points clear of north London rivals Arsenal, who will play in the Europa League next season after faltering in the final stages of the season.

17:27 , Giuseppe Muro

Just when Kulusevski had risked infuriating Conte by prioritising personal glory over the team, he renders it meaningless by scoring a beauty. 3-0 and fully party mode in the away end.

GOAL! Norwich 0-3 Tottenham | Dejan Kulusevski 64’

17:24 , Giuseppe Muro

No mistake from the Swede this time! A fantastic goal from Kulusevski, who is played in down the right, cuts inside and curls a brilliant shot into the top corner. Spurs are heading for the Champions League!

Dan Kilpatrick at Carrow Road

17:22 , Giuseppe Muro

Remarkable moment, as Kulusevski rounds Krul but tries to tee up Son rather than score himself, allowing Norwich to clear off the line.

17:21 , Giuseppe Muro

62 mins: Off the line! Kulusevski somehow doesn't score with the goal gaping! He rounds Krul but sees Son in space and instead of tapping it home fluffs his lines as he tries to pass to his team mate and Aarons gets back to clear!

Arsenal 3-1 Everton

The Gunners are in control at Emirates Stadium now. Cedric has made it three.

17:19 , Giuseppe Muro

Norwich are still having a go and look determined to go out with a fight. That should suit Spurs provided they don't do anything stupid.

17:03 , Giuseppe Muro

46 mins: We’re back underway at Carrow Road!

16:59 , Giuseppe Muro

It has been very business-like from Spurs, who have not shown any signs of nerves. It would take something some collapse for them to throw it away from here. But, still, a big 45 minutes ahead.

So as it stands, Tottenham are qualifying for next season’s Champions League.

Norwich have hardly threatened Arsenal need a miracle in the second half to finish above their north London rivals.

Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Donny van de Beek has pulled one back for Everton at Emirates Stadium.

Half-time: Norwich 0-2 Tottenham

So far, so good for Spurs. They are 45 minutes away from a place in the Champions League.

16:46 , Giuseppe Muro

44 mins: Davies shoots from range and Krul spills it but Norwich eventually clear.

16:44 , Giuseppe Muro

42 mins: Spurs are pretty comfortable here. Giannoulis whips in a ball from the left and it almost catches out Lloris at the back post but the Spurs goalkeeper turns it behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

16:41 , Giuseppe Muro

39 mins: Norwich move forward but Rashica had a shot blocked on the edge of the area.

16:29 , Giuseppe Muro

24 mins: It’s all Tottenham here. Spurs are in complete control. If they can get a second goal then they could kill this game early.

16:28 , Giuseppe Muro

19 mins: Tottenham supporters are in full voice at Carrow Road now. That Kulusevski strike has calmed a few nerves in the away end but Spurs fans will know there is still a long way to go this afternoon.

Dan Kilpatrick at Carrow Road

16:22 , Giuseppe Muro

January has long felt a decisive moment in this top-four battle, with Spurs strengthening and Arsenal only weakening their squads.

So fitting that Spurs’ breakthrough here was a fine combination between their deadline-day signings, Bentancur squaring for Kulusevski.

GOAL! Norwich 0-1 Tottenham | Dejan Kulusevski 16’

16:18 , Giuseppe Muro

Spurs get the early goal they wanted! Hojbjerg lifts a ball from inside in his own half into the path of Bentancur, who picks out Kulusevski for a tap in.

It’s the perfect start for Spurs!

16:13 , Giuseppe Muro

11 mins: Save from Krul! Spurs come forward again, Hojbjerg finds Kane in the box but from a tight angle his shot is turned behind by Krul. Spurs are on top early on.

Dan Kilpatrick at Carrow Road

16:11 , Giuseppe Muro

Norwich are not going down without a fight and they’re having a go here, trying to press Spurs into a mistake. That’s going to suit Conte’s side, who have already gone close through Hojbjerg from a counter.

16:09 , Giuseppe Muro

8 mins: Chance for Spurs! Tottenham break at pace and Kane releases Kulusevski down the right, he does brilliantly to pick out Hojbjerg but he blazes over. Oh what a chance for them to take the lead.

16:06 , Giuseppe Muro

5 mins: A bit of a nervy moment for Spurs early on as the ball is played back to Lloris, who takes a little longer than usual to clear his lines when pressured by Pukki.

16:04 , Giuseppe Muro

3 mins: An early move froward from Tottenham but Kane has his first effort at goal blocked well by Hanley.

Antonio Conte said this week that he expects Harry Kane to be fit.

"But a virus is not a problem because we are very close to reaching a big achievement."

We’ll find out soon enough...

'Golden Boot is what you dream of as a kid'

14:20 , Giuseppe Muro

Heung min-Son is chasing the Golden Boot at Carrow Road today.

Liverpool's Mo Salah leads with 22 goals, one ahead of Son.

Speaking ahead of the game, Son: "I can't believe I scored so many goals.

“It makes me really happy but the Golden Boot is something everyone dreams of when you are a kid and you start playing football. But for me it's more important to help the team."

Permutations

So can Tottenham seal a Champions League spot ahead of Arsenal?

Their 1-0 win over Burnley last Sunday, followed by Arsenal's 2-0 defeat at Newcastle on Monday, means they go into the final day two points ahead of their north London rivals.

With their vastly superior goal difference, Spurs can afford a draw at relegated Norwich.

Only a win will do for Arsenal, who are at home to an Everton side now assured of Premier League football next season.

If Norwich can produce a shock at Carrow Road and beat Spurs, a win will see Arsenal nick it.

Norwich vs Tottenham prediction

Even the most optimistic Arsenal fan will not expect Spurs to let this one slip, with Norwich’s lack of defensive prowess set to provide a gold mine of opportunities for Spurs’ goal-hungry attackers.

A 3-0 Tottenham win.

Norwich team news - Normann should be fit

13:54 , George Flood

Relegated Norwich are still being plagued by injury problems, meanwhile.

Manager Dean Smith remains without the likes of Adam Idah, Andrew Omobamidele, Christoph Zimmermann, Kenny McLean, Joshua Sargent and Ozan Kabak.

Ben Gibson is a major doubt today, while Chelsea loanee Billy Gilmour has returned to his parent club for assessment on an ankle problem.

However, Norwegian midfielder Mathias Normann should be fit to return for the Canaries at least.

Tottenham team news - Kane expected to start

13:46 , George Flood

Harry Kane should be ready to lead the line for Tottenham as usual today.

The England captain is one of a number of Spurs players to have experienced illness recently, sparking concerns over a repeat of the infamous “Lasagna-gate” events of 2006.

Kane cancelled a planned media appearance on Friday due to feeling unwell, though Antonio Conte expects him to play at Carrow Road.

“Yeah for sure,” Conte said on Friday. “Also because in the last game we had Deki (Dejan Kulusevski) had this problem - he didn’t have training with us on Saturday but on Sunday he was good to play.

“For sure Harry doesn’t want to miss this type of game. This game means a lot for everybody.

“If you remember the last game against Burnley we had four cases with stomach problems. This week I have to be honest we had a couple of cases about this, but we overcame this situation.

“Also members of the staff for one day they were not feeling so good. I don’t know why but the last week and also this week we faced this situation.”

Cristian Romero, Matt Doherty, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp and Sergio Reguilon are all out for Spurs today, though Kulusevski should return to the starting XI.

Tottenham predicted lineup: (3-4-3) Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Royal, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Sessegnon; Kulusevski, Son, Kane
