Oddschecker: Silvestre De Sousa to continue red-hot form

Carlisle 15:00 – Hee Haw – 9/2 – 2pts
Hee Haw has finished second on four occasions to date, and has yet to get on the winners board. However, there was no shame in losing to Dandy Highwayman last time out at Hamilton. The Dalgleish-trained horse goes down in trip today which should suit him.
Wetherby 15:45 – Al Nafoorah – 9/4 – 2pts
Al Nafoorah’s been relatively unlucky in her short career, placing on five of seven starts. She was beaten by a neck at Brighton last month, therefore hasn’t gone up in weight. Cheerfilly looks the only horse which could be a challenger, but concerns remain about the distance.
Windsor – 19:45 – Manton Grange – 13/8 – 2pts
Manton Grange steps up in trip after showing plenty in the finishes of his last few races. The extra distance and ground will be perfect for the George Baker-trained horse. He’s been given a 5lb penalty after winning at Leicester but that shouldn’t stop him winning today.
Nottingham – 18:30 – Dyllan – 5/2 – 3pts
Dyllan returns to action, and the booking of Silvestre De Sousa indicates that he means business. He ended last season in decent form, with back-to-back second places after a win at Redcar. His last win came over this distance, and in the same conditions.

Nottingham – 19:30 – Rotherwick – 11/4 – 1pt
Luke Morris takes the ride on Rotherwick, and at 11/4 it’s impossible not to have a small punt. He won his last race at Lingfield, which was his first since 2014. He didn’t have much to beat on that occasion, and the same could be said about today’s field.
