Manchester City take on Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night as Pep Guardiola and his side look to all but guarantee qualification for the knockout phase of the tournament.

City were 3-0 victors against the Greek outfit in the reverse fixture earlier in November, with Gabriel Jesus, Ferran Torres and Joao Cancelo netting at the Etihad Stadium.

With the Premier League team perfect in the competition so far this term, they will be fairly confident of replicating their last result against Pedro Martins’ side and moving to 12 points from 12 in Group C – effectively confirming their spot in the last 16.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Champions League meeting in Greece.

Prediction

Since City played Olympiacos at the start of the month, Guardiola’s side have drawn one – versus Liverpool – and lost one – against Tottenham. A brief break from the Premier League, against opposition that didn’t cause much trouble last time out, might just be exactly what City need. Expect them to respond positively here. Olympiacos 0-2 Man City.
