Panathinaikos win to stay unbeaten

Panathinaikos remained among the ranks of the undefeated in the Euroleague as they swept past Zalgiris Kaunas with a 92-75 victory at their OACA Arena.

Dimitris Diamantdis top-scored with 16 points, while Mike Batiste also weighed in with 14 as the hosts completed an efficient win.

Reigning Euroleague MVP Diamantidis paced the Greens superbly, and dictated the play for his side to ensure another victory.

It was not entirely convincing though, as it took a strong second half from the hosts after Zalgiris led by four points at half-time in new head coach Aleksandar Trifunovic's debut.

Panathinaikos now faces a Week 4 showdown against fellow unbeaten side CSKA.
