Paris Olympics 2024: Men's beach volleyball events and schedule
Beach volleyball is one of the newer sports in the Summer Olympics. The sport debuted at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and has been a fixture ever since with both men's and women's events. This year marks the eighth Summer Olympics to include beach volleyball.
Only three countries have multiple medals in men's beach volleyball: Brazil (six), the U.S. (four), and Germany (two). The U.S. has the most gold medals with three. The Tokyo Olympics saw Norway take gold for their first Olympic medal in the sport. Defending champions Anders Mol and Christian Sørum will represent Norway once again this summer.
